This massage treatment concentrates on the areas most vunerable to tension - the scalp, face, upper back, neck and shoulders. Treatment can be carried out using dry hands, oil, floral waters or astringents depending upon the requirements of the client. Indian head massage is excellent for many stress related problems and can be carried out over clothes if required.
During the treatment chakras or energy centres of the body are worked on restoring harmony and balance and leaving the client feeling totally relaxed and revitalised.
The Holistic course will cover:

Ear candles are completely natural. The candles are hollow and consist of an organic linen interior, which is coated with a wax exterior. The candle is carefully inserted in the ear and slowly burned. Ear candling is mostly used for its physical benefits such as healing ear, nose, throat, respiratory and sinus problems. Kinesiology can be used on family and friends to balance their inner energies, which become out of sorts through stress or ill health. It is using a 14-muscle test to locate, which energies are not at their full flow and through the tools given you will be able to balance those energies out. The course is done over two weekends so students can practice on family and friends; you are given logbooks and Kinesiology workbooks, which can take them up to a level 5. There is course notes and homework, which needs to be done, but full support will be given.

Reiki 2 is for those wishing to deepen their understanding of Reiki, and is the level whereby you start channelling energy to others, including plants, animals and situations. Here, you are also taught how to send distant healing. It is also useful for those who do not wish to become practitioners as it enables you to send Reiki to the past to heal any issues, which are still affecting you, or to the future to help you deal with difficult circumstances.
This is a 1-day experiential, certificated workshop with 2 case studies to be completed within 3 months of the course for those wishing to be practitioners.

Introductory to Anatomy & Physiology This is a basic introductory course for the understanding of anatomy and physiology and has been designed for use in the complementary health therapies. Many holistic therapies now request the knowledge of the Anatomy & Human Physiology prior to the course they want to study.
In this course the student will develop comprehension of the structure and function of the human body, of the inter-relation of the body systems within the human organism and develop an understanding of the principles of human anatomy and physiology. The Anatomy & Physiology Diploma course is aimed at students who want to further progress their careers in alternative therapies and who have little background in the life sciences or have not studied biology for a number of years. No previous knowledge of biology is required.
Completing this course will open opportunities for you to access many alternative therapy courses. The course is fully approved by Babtac and can be completed in two days. During the course handouts and work booklets are provided and mock tests will be given. Theory and practical are combined together to suite different styles of learning. A multiple choice test will be given at the end of the course. There will be no more than four people on the course as we feel we want to give our students more attention.
